Fabryka Broni Radom wz.96C Beryl assault rifle with grey soft case AEG airsoft replica.
Airsoft version of the assault rifle wz.96.96C Beryl, which was the basic rifle of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Poland
and for years was used by soldiers of the Polish Army not only in the country, but also on peace missions.
After the political changes at the end of the 20th century, Poland, aiming to enter NATO structures, needed a basic weapon
on the equipment of the Polish Army powered by 5.56 x 45 ammunition.
To this end, a prototype rifle was developed in 1995, which, after passing positive tests, gradually began to be introduced into
the armament of the Polish Armed Forces units.
The Beryl in various versions served, among others, in Iraq, Afghanistan and Chad, at the same time finding its way to the
equipment of the armed forces of Lithuania (A version) and Nigeria (Beryl in M762 version).
The external parts were made by the Weapons Factory in Radom.
They were prepared for the airsoft version, but the quality of workmanship and specification do not differ one step from
the parts used in the firearm counterpart.
The presented version C modernized features, among others:
adjustable telescopic stock with rubber stock foot.
Aluminium integrated handguard assembly with rail overlay allowing mounting of red dot sights, vertical grip, torch,
laser in RIS/Picatinny/Weaver standard.
Extended magazine catch.
In addition, a steel raised quick release sight rail assembly is included in the kit.
Made using steel, aluminium and polymer.
Steel was used for the gas tube, the body of the replica, the lock chamber cover, the breech with extended magazine catch,
the telescopic stock guide, the sight rail assembly, and the safety.
Aluminium was used for the barrel assembly with sights, gas tube, fire mode switch, reloading, tension handle, and polymer
for the grip, front grip and buttstock.
Inside the rifle among others, a V3 Gearbox with 8mm. bearings and a 500mm long inner barrel.
A grey soft carry case is included.
The case has a spacious main chamber divided into two compartments.
Each compartment can accommodate a replica or also a real gun with a length of max. 101cm.
Items inside are secured with Velcro fastened straps and a soft insert that separates the transported equipment from each other.
The front of the case has 5 pockets:
2 side pockets closed with buckles and Velcro.
2 smaller, zipped pockets.
1 larger, also closed with a zip.
Inside, there are a number of smaller mesh pockets and compartments to make transporting equipment easier.
The larger pocket features a MOLLE Laser Cut panel.
On the back of the cover there is an additional flat pocket and the Molle system.
The cover can be carried like a rucksack, braces included, or like a suitcase or travel bag thanks to the carry handles strap.
The airsoft version of the wz.96C Beryl assault rifle is a very interesting proposition not only for fans of AK series rifles,
but also - or perhaps above all - for lovers of Polish Army equipment, which will be perfect for events such as Milsim.
Fidelity to the original, a mounting rail, markings on the rifle and an additional cover are among the many advantages
of the presented Beryl, which will certainly find a wide audience.
